About Penge
Penge exists to give people a clear, honest picture of their money, without the manual work that makes most budgeting fall apart after a month.
Why we built Penge
Money today is spread across several banks, cards and accounts, and no single one shows the whole picture. Most tools that promise an overview still expect you to type in every transaction by hand, which is exactly why so many budgets get abandoned. We wanted something that does the work for you and simply shows you where your money goes.
What Penge does
Penge connects to your bank accounts through Open Banking and gathers your balances and transactions in one place. It suggests categories and sorts spending automatically when it is sure, so you get a clear overview without manual entry. You set budgets per category, follow your spending over time, and see everything across all your accounts, including your net worth. If a bank is not supported, you can add accounts manually or upload statements.
Security comes first
Your bank connection is read-only, you log in with your own bank, and we never store your bank credentials. Your data is encrypted, and you can delete it at any time.

Who is behind Penge
Penge is built by a small team in the Nordics, for everyday finances across Europe. Magnus Ramm, one of the co-founders, also writes the guides here on the blog. The app is available in Norwegian, English, Swedish and Danish.
