Connect KLP Banken to Penge
KLP Banken is the banking arm of KLP, the Norwegian pension provider for the municipal sector, and it offers mortgages and savings accounts. Penge connects to it read-only over Open Banking and shows those accounts next to the ones you hold elsewhere.
How it works
- 1Open Penge on your iPhone, tap to add a bank, and choose KLP Banken.
- 2Log in with BankID, just as you normally would with KLP Banken.
- 3Approve read-only access. Penge can see your balances and transactions but can never move money, and your login details are never stored.
- 4Your accounts import automatically and keep refreshing for the roughly 90-day Open Banking consent period.
What about credit cards?
Some credit cards are not covered by Open Banking. If a KLP Banken card does not show up, you can upload a statement instead and Penge reads the transactions straight from it.
