Connect OBOS-banken to Penge
OBOS-banken belongs to OBOS, the Norwegian housing cooperative, and lends mainly for homes and to housing companies. Penge connects to it read-only over Open Banking, so a mortgage there shows up in the same picture as your spending accounts.
How it works
- 1Open Penge on your iPhone, tap to add a bank, and choose OBOS-banken.
- 2Log in with BankID, just as you normally would with OBOS-banken.
- 3Approve read-only access. Penge can see your balances and transactions but can never move money, and your login details are never stored.
- 4Your accounts import automatically and keep refreshing for the roughly 90-day Open Banking consent period.
What about credit cards?
Some credit cards are not covered by Open Banking. If a OBOS-banken card does not show up, you can upload a statement instead and Penge reads the transactions straight from it.
