Connect Sparebanken Øst to Penge
Sparebanken Øst is one of Norway's oldest savings banks, based in Drammen and serving the country's south-east. Penge connects to it read-only over Open Banking, so your everyday account and any mortgage sit in the same overview as the rest of your money.
How it works
- 1Open Penge on your iPhone, tap to add a bank, and choose Sparebanken Øst.
- 2Log in with BankID, just as you normally would with Sparebanken Øst.
- 3Approve read-only access. Penge can see your balances and transactions but can never move money, and your login details are never stored.
- 4Your accounts import automatically and keep refreshing for the roughly 90-day Open Banking consent period.
What about credit cards?
Some credit cards are not covered by Open Banking. If a Sparebanken Øst card does not show up, you can upload a statement instead and Penge reads the transactions straight from it.
