Connect Starling Bank to Penge
Starling Bank is a British digital bank that runs entirely through its mobile app, serving personal customers across the United Kingdom. Penge connects to your Starling accounts read-only through Open Banking, so your balances and transactions import automatically without Penge ever being able to move money.
How it works
- 1Open Penge on your iPhone, tap to add a bank, and choose Starling Bank.
- 2Log in with your bank's app or online banking, just as you normally would with Starling Bank.
- 3Approve read-only access. Penge can see your balances and transactions but can never move money, and your login details are never stored.
- 4Your accounts import automatically and keep refreshing for the roughly 90-day Open Banking consent period.
What about credit cards?
Some credit cards are not covered by Open Banking. If a Starling Bank card does not show up, you can upload a statement instead and Penge reads the transactions straight from it.
