Connect Wise to Penge
Wise is a pan-European financial service best known for multi-currency accounts and low-cost international transfers. Penge connects to your Wise account read-only through Open Banking, so your balances and transactions import automatically while Penge can never move any money.
How it works
- 1Open Penge on your iPhone, tap to add a bank, and choose Wise.
- 2Log in with your bank's app or online banking, just as you normally would with Wise.
- 3Approve read-only access. Penge can see your balances and transactions but can never move money, and your login details are never stored.
- 4Your accounts import automatically and keep refreshing for the roughly 90-day Open Banking consent period.
What about credit cards?
Some credit cards are not covered by Open Banking. If a Wise card does not show up, you can upload a statement instead and Penge reads the transactions straight from it.
